Add a little science to everyday with the December Science Calendar!
The Homeschool Scientist’s monthly science calendars are designed to be quick studies to broaden your student’s horizons and to get them excited about science. Each day contains a link to fun science projects or interesting science information. You can choose to dive in as deep as you want.
Some parents and teachers use the science calendars as a fun way to jump start the school day. Others use them to add a break in between other subjects. In our house, our kids are 13 and 17 so they are fairly independent learners. I let them fit the calendar into their day wherever they can. It’s fun to see them set up experiments and activities on their own, working together, or discussing the day’s topic at lunch.
