As a Christian in the science field, I have always found it uncomfortable when the subject of evolution comes up. All the evidence given in textbooks and scientific literature seems to point to evolution with virtually no evidence for or even mention of creation science, or what is now known as Intelligent Design, as told in the Bible.
This has bothered many Christians over the years. Many have left the faith because of this very issue. I can see why. Science texts and professors treat the theory of evolution as if it were fact and they treat any sort of intelligent design theory as mythology. Their students, then, believe the authority of their instructors and texts and believe that evolution must be truth and there is no other option. This can lead the Christian to ask questions about the Biblical account of creation. Then the thoughts go to…. If the Bible is wrong about creation, what else is it wrong about? Why isn’t there any evidence supporting Intelligent Design?
Evolution Impossible is the “missing link” for those, who because of their Christian beliefs, hold to the idea that God created the universe, but have only the Bible on which to base their beliefs. Or, for those who are students of science and have never come across scientific evidence that brings the validity of the theory of evolution into question. This is the first creation science book I have read that gives actual scientific evidence for creation, while also questioning some long held beliefs and misconceptions about evolution. It does it in a reader friendly way that will leave you saying “Evolution is Impossible!”
I know not all my readers are Christian and many are steadfast evolutionists. This is a book I would recommend that they read, also. I’ve read a lot of books on evolution and creation and Evolution Impossible does the best job of bringing real science to the table for both sides to ponder.
