Add a little science to every day with The Homeschool Scientist’s May Science Calendar. Each month, we publish a new calendar packed with interesting science information and fun science activities. These are designed to be quick studies to broaden your student’s horizons and to get them excited about science.
Some parents and teachers use the science calendars as a fun way to jump start the school day. Others use them to add a break in between other subjects. In our house, our kids are 12 and 16 so they are fairly independent learners. I let them fit the calendar into their day wherever they can. It’s fun to see them set up experiments and activities on their own, working together, or discussing the day’s topic at lunch.
