Easy To Make

bird feeder diy projects

Bird Feeders

Birding can be very affordable. We share some easy to make bird feeders using peanut butter, fruit, seed, recyclables, and a few things you either have already or can purchase at the dollar store.

For our first easy bird feeder  DIY project, you only need 3 components: an empty toilet paper roll, peanut butter and birdseed.  Spread a thick layer of peanut butter all over the cardboard roll.

Peanut Butter Bird Feeder

Roll it around in the birdseed, making sure to press.

Then hang your bird feeder up with string and wait for the birds to feed.

You will need  - Empty plastic bottle - 6″ wooden dowel - Funnel - Paper towel - Something sharp - Birdseed

Plastic Water Bottle Feeder

Punch a whole near the bottom and one on the other side. Slip the dowel through. Make another whole just above, big enough for the birds to eat seed. Fill with seed and the birds will love it!

You'll need: – String – Empty frozen food “bowl” – Craft scissors – Sunflower seed

Frozen Food Container Bird Feeder

This one is so easy, it’s ridiculous!!

Punch 4 holes on “4 corners” of the bowl. Add string about 20″ each and hang up.

These easy diy bird feeders can be enjoyed not only in your own yard but you can also share with a grandparent or a neighbor or bless a nursing home or hospice.
