Scientific Mystery Monday – The Wonders Of Fish
Most organs in the animal world, not just limbs, have several uses, illustrating an economy that reflects designed parsimony. Animals are wont to imitate other animals, or even leaves, rocks or other aspects of their surroundings. One fish, which looks very much like a dead leaf, and is appropriately called the Leaf fish, is tan or brown colored with appropriate leaf resembling mottling.
