Have you heard the news? A Total Eclipse of the Sun will pass over the United States on Monday, August 21, 2017! This is the first total solar eclipse of any kind over the Continental USA since the 1970s. But more significantly, this is the first coast-to-coast eclipse to pass over the USA in a century! Since June 8, 1918!
What Is A Total Eclipse Of The Sun?
A Total Eclipse of the Sun is widely regarded as the most spectacular natural wonder visible from Planet Earth! During a total solar eclipse, the Moon passes in front of the Sun for several minutes, blocking the bright rays of sunshine. The Moon’s shadow passes over the Earth, turning day into night, noon becoming midnight! The stars become visible, and the obscured Sun appears as a black hole in the sky. Most amazingly, the Sun’s corona becomes visible, the magnificent crown of the outer solar atmosphere, a sight that can only be seen during a total solar eclipse.
Totality will last for only two minutes and forty seconds along the centerline of the path. That duration tapers off away from the centerline, being only momentary along the very edge. To see the longest possible eclipse, one should get as close as possible to the centerline.
Where Can I See The Total Eclipse In 2017?
The 2017 total solar eclipse will be visible along a narrow path of totality from Oregon to South Carolina. Though 3000 miles long, this path is only 70 miles wide! Only those along this path will experience a total solar eclipse as the Moon’s shadow passes over. But everyone in the Continental USA outside the path will only see a partial solar eclipse, and a very deep one at that.
Every American should be very excited! This eclipse is practically guaranteed to be the biggest news story of the summer of 2017. We all have ample opportunity to become informed and to make plans. But amazingly, this impending glory is being totally ignored in the media and otherwise in the mainstream. It has apparently been so long since such an eclipse has occurred over American soil that an entire generation of Americans has been born and reached middle age without ever witnessing this mind-blowing spectacle. Many are indifferent, failing to appreciate the significance.
Why View The Solar Eclipse?
The 2017 eclipse will be a very significant event in our nation’s history. It is the first coast-to-coast eclipse since the advent of the interstate freeway system. Hundreds of millions of Americans will be within an eight-hour drive of the path of totality. For this reason, the USA eclipse of 2017 has the potential to be the most-watched eclipse in human history! But it will only happen if people plan and prepare!
Eclipse Day 2017 is an unprecedented opportunity for Americans to experience one of God’s true wonders. This is an especially great opportunity for families, especially homeschoolers, to learn and be inspired and educated! Since this rare trans-continental eclipse experience has not transpired for a century, you do not want to squander this unprecedented opportunity! Homeschoolers who buy curriculum for their children should consider the expense of eclipse travel to be an investment in their children’s education. Really, it’s THAT important!
It has been estimated that only 0.001% of Americans have witnessed a Total Eclipse of the Sun at the present time. That number will increase by millions on Eclipse Day, but will still remain a small percentage. Make sure that you and your family are among the exclusive membership in the Eclipse Club! I promise, you will NOT regret it

Since we are on the subject of the sun, If the Earth and the sun were as old as the evolutionists claim it is, then the sun would have been so large that the solar flames would have engulfed the Earth billions of years ago.
