One question I get all the time is “What science courses are out there for students who aren’t going to be science majors in college, but need a basic lab science high school credit?” Chemistry 101 curriculum is a great answer.
Chemistry 101 curriculum is a 19 lesson Christian-based, DVD curriculum that is more than a dry chemistry lecture. The instructor presents the course from various locations using lots of visuals that make the lessons come alive. He adds interesting anecdotes and information that you might miss in any other chemistry course.
There are many opportunities within Chemistry 101 for hands-on chemistry. Most experiments and projects are demonstrated within the lesson making them easy for your student to duplicate.
Chemistry 101 gives a basic understanding of chemistry without weighing the non-science oriented student with useless knowledge they will never use again. It is easy for students to study and for parents to facilitate.
The companion Chemistry 101 Guidebook pdf included in DVD 4 will help your student remember and study the material covered within the lessons. The guidebook, also, contains discussion questions and quizzes to test their comprehension of the material. The included Accreditation Booklet pdf walks parents through using Chemistry 101 to fulfill a high school science credit. Simple science, I’d say.
